When are the Walk Tea Talk Events held in Birley?

Once a week, every Wednesday at 10 AM, we meet in front of Laura’s bench.

How long are the walks?

We aim to walk for an hour and tweak the route to best suit everyone’s abilities.

We arrive at the Sweetpea Cabin at approximately around 11 AM.

Have a cup of tea and a healthy whole food snack while chatting away about how you can best support your health gain. After this chat, we aim to be back at the Birley Medical Centre by around noon.

What is the difficulty level?

Easy terrain so everyone can join in the fun. Invite your family and friends and bring along your dog if you are lucky to have one. We love them!

List of items that you should bring on the walk:

  • Appropriate clothing (layers advised) and shoes (non-slip)
  • Waterproofs
  • Hat/cap
  • Water
  • Healthy snacks e.g. fruits, nuts
  • Emergency contact details

We look forward to walking with you all!
